Sensory Play

Have you ever witnessed a child’s bad mood crumble with a splash in the bath? Or seen the intense concentration in a child’s face when sifting sand through the fingers? It is all about sensory play: activities that facilitate exploration, investigation and creativity. Sensory play can also teach kids about cooperation and collaboration. Playing on the same mat means sharing toys and play-space. The children also have the opportunity to express themselves and become confident in sharing their ideas with others.
